Peter Mayer Concert

The Christmas Season is quickly approaching, and with it, the Peter Mayer Stars and Promises tour! As you may be aware, Peter is making a stop on his tour at Harvey Browne Presbyterian, on December 3rd, for a concert to benefit St. Matthews Area Ministries. Peter, who is the lead guitarist for Jimmy Buffet and the son of Lutheran missionaries, performs a mix of traditional Christmas tunes and original music along with his band , which includes a Kentucky fiddle player, a Native American flute player, and fantastic musicians on keyboards, drums, guitar, and bass. Those who were lucky enough to see Peter perform previously at Harvey Browne found it to be a moving and spiritual experience.

This year, the concert benefits St. Matthews Area Ministries, which provides assistance to those in the St. Matthews community in the form of financial support, food, children's needs, counseling, and disaster preparedness. All of the proceeds over Harvey Browne's costs will go directly to St. MAM. A special offering will be taken that evening to be given to St. MAM as well.

To make this benefit a success, we need your help! You can help in several ways. Of course, we would love to see each and every one of you purchase a ticket ($20 each) and attend this event to celebrate the season with us, but we understand the difficulties of scheduling during the holiday season. If you cannot attend, we urge you to consider supporting this cause by making a donation to Harvey Browne (311 Browns Lane, Louisville, KY 40207) to help cover the costs of hosting this event. Every dollar towards our costs will increase the ultimate donation to St. MAM, and help those in our community who are in need.
